Angel Without Wings

by | Jun 6, 2022

Fallen from the sky
Gentle you land
Like an autumn leaf
Blowing in the wind

I feel I could crumble
With every step I take
But your calming smile
Makes me feel at home

I didn’t know what to do
I didn’t know what to think
Nor could I see
What you asked me to see

The world through your eyes
Looks so infinite and big
But seeing your horizon
I felt I was reborn

Thousand of things
Now look so clear
As we walk
On the boardwalk of Earth

If your soul could fly
If you had your wings
Would you take me with you
Back into the sky

I never found my place
I wouldn’t know what’s right
But now I finally see
As you guide me through this path

I would have never stayed
Yet here I am
Everyday improving
With your delicate caress

When I hold your hand
All my fears they disappear
And when we kiss
I transport into another world

Things that seemed impossible
Now are finally real
Things that seemed so far
Are now within my reach

The only fear I have
I losing memories of you
What if you hadn’t stopped
That day that you walked by

But you looked into my eyes
And you said hello
Experiences that last forever
Branded in my mind

I have a million things to tell you
But no words come out my mouth
But if I tell them will you hear them
Now that you’re not here?

Your an angel without wings
Fallen from the sky
So back up you go
Where one day we’ll meet again

Until that day appears
I will hold you in my heart
As you occupy my thoughts
And give me air to breathe
